Our symbol, the +, stands for positive collaboration. We believe that optimum solutions to project requirements can only be found by working closely with our clients, associates & local authorities. Through harboring strong relationships, we act as their advocates – ultimately making their needs our needs. Once we have fully understood those needs, we begin generating design ideas that adhere to architectural, communal & intellectual coherence. We believe that our work has to have a positive impact on the world.

The practice works by building teams around projects. Qualified design professionals are chosen to take design from inception to handover, to ensure that project vision is maintained through its maturity. Each team is generally led by a senior team leader that acts as a bridge to the client & its advisors and collaborates with external associates. We are highly adaptable throughout the design & construction process and have been valued by our clients for our quality, speed & efficiency. We follow the stages of the RIBA Plan of Work, British Standards & National Building Specifications for our projects. 
 

QUALITY ASSURANCE

The conveyance of quality is one of the keystones of FACE Architecture + Design. We are a quality driven practice by nature and have design audits & technical reviews at every stage of a project’s lifecycle. This ensures that design methods, drawing/documentation standards & pre-tender specifications followed by our professionals are in line with industry best practice. Our Quality Management System ensures pristine delivery of architectural / engineering service to our clients and works to continually improve with evolving trends of the market. We are currently in the process of achieving ISO 9001 certification.
 

BUILDING INFORMATION MODELLING

We use BIM processes & best in practice workflows to improve collaboration between our clients, associates & studio and have recognized its potential for enhanced design communication + clash detection between disciplines, superior information processing & production of pristine construction documentation. This enables us to decrease cost, time & risk for our clientele and help us produce more proficient, sustainable buildings.
 

SUSTAINABILITY + EMS

We are well aware of our professional responsibility to bring sensible design to our communities and strive to develop durable, economically sensible solutions that protect the environment, save material & energy and holistically enhance the localities we furnish. We understand that our clients situationally require various levels of sustainability and collaboratively guide them to achieve benchmarks in LEED / Estidama ratings. We promote sustainable design as part of our ethos; from the very inception of our projects through to completion and integrate contemporary sentient building solutions. We are currently in the process of achieving ISO 14001 certification & are developing our Environmental Management System.
 

HEALTH & SAFETY / CDM

We work with some of the best contractors in the industry and value the well-being of all stakeholders & the general public during the execution of our projects. We have our own Health & Safety policy as well as a CDM Best Practices policy for our ventures with contractors. We are currently in the process of achieving OHSAS 18001 certification.
